Are you ready to embark on a wild adventure like no other? The Ark Project invites you to join us for Zoobrew, the ultimate twilight event for beer and animal lovers alike! With three different dates to choose from, you can experience the magic of the Edmonton Valley Zoo after-hours while enjoying a drink in hand. As the sun sets on the Valley Zoo, you’ll witness the transformation of this family-friendly destination into a peaceful escape perfect for adults. Whether you’re looking for a fun night out with friends, a unique date night with your significant otter, or just a chance to unwind and relax, Zoobrew has got you covered. As you wander through the Zoo’s exhibits, you’ll have the opportunity to sample amazing craft beers, wines, spirits, and cider from some of the region’s top breweries and distilleries. And of course, no trip to the Valley Zoo would be complete without encountering some of its famous furry residents up close and personal! But the fun doesn’t stop there.

Zoobrew also features incredible live music from some of Edmonton’s best local artists, making this an evening you won’t soon forget. With so many choices available, there’s never a dull moment at Zoobrew! Not only is Zoobrew a night of wild entertainment, but it’s also an opportunity to support the conservation efforts of your local Valley Zoo. Great drinks and great music go hand in hand. That’s why we’re excited to announce our incredible lineup of live entertainment, all sponsored by Starlight & Grand Villa Casinos. Taking place in the beautiful Amphitheatre, our live entertainment will feature a variety of talented local artists, ranging from acoustic duos to full bands. You’ll be able to sit back, relax, and enjoy some amazing music while sipping on your favourite drink and taking in the stunning surroundings of the Edmonton Valley Zoo. From indie rock to soulful ballads, our live entertainment is sure to get you in the mood for a wild night of fun. So come join us and dance the night away under the stars, all while supporting the conservation efforts of your local Valley Zoo.

FAQ’S

What is included with my admission ticket?

Admission includes entry into the event, your own take home Zoobrew sampling mug + lanyard, access to samples of varying sizes from over 30 local breweries, wineries, and distilleries, access to our on-site food trucks, and all of the other amazing surprises Zoobrew has to offer!

Is Zoobrew adult only? Are children permitted?

Zoobrew is a 18+ event and a valid photo ID is required for entry. Guests arriving for Zoo Brew accompanied by children/infants will not be admitted. No refunds will be provided.

How do sample tickets work?

All beer and food can be sampled by purchasing sample tickets at the entry gate. Sample tickets are $1 each and sold in packages of 20. Each sample ranges from 2-4 tickets, but food and cocktails can be more. A sample of beer is legally 4oz, which is 1/3 of a bottle of beer!

Are animals still visible during Zoobrew?

While Zoobrew is primarily a beer and food event, guests will have the opportunity to see many of the animals throughout the zoo during the event. However, please note that the animals have their own schedules and may not be visible during the entire evening.

Does the event accommodate guests with accessibility requirements?

Yes, Zoobrew is accessible for guests with disabilities, including designated accessible parking and wheelchair-accessible routes throughout the event. Please contact the event organizers in advance at arkproject@buildingourzoo.com for more information.

What time does alcohol service end?

Zoobrew runs from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm, with last call for alcohol samples at 10:00 pm.

Can I purchase tickets at the gate on the day of the event?

Zoobrew tickets are sold online in advance and often sell out so we do not offer tickers at the gate on the day of the event.

Is there parking available at the zoo for Zoobrew?

Yes, there is parking available at the zoo for Zoobrew. However, parking can fill up quickly, so we recommend arriving early or using public transportation or ride-sharing services.

What happens if Zoobrew is cancelled?

In the event of cancellation, ticket holders will be notified via email and may be eligible for a refund or ticket transfer to a future event, depending on the circumstances.

Can I bring my own sampling glass to Zoobrew?

No, outside sampling glasses are not allowed at Zoobrew. However, you will receive a sampling glass with your admission ticket that can be used throughout the event.

Will there be any activities or entertainment for non-drinkers at Zoobrew?

Yes, Zoobrew usually features a variety of activities and entertainment options for non-drinkers, including food trucks, live music, and animal exhibits.

Will there be Zoobrew merchandise available for purchase?

Yes, Zoobrew offers event merchandise for purchase, such as t-shirts, hats and other memorabilia available for purchase in the Zootique.

Is Zoobrew a rain or shine event?

Yes, Zoobrew is a rain or shine event and will be held regardless of the weather. Please dress appropriately and be prepared for outdoor conditions.
